Night of the Prog Festival IX

We are proud to present you a bit earlier the Line Up for the 9th edition of the Night of the Prog Festival at the Loreley Amphitheater. Especially as we have 2 Headliners who will perform exclusively this summer in Germany: the Prog Supergroup TRANSATLANTIC and MARILLION. Further down you see the whole Time Schedule for the Festival. We are also proud - although this show is not part of the Festival - that Alan Parsons and his Live Project will perform a Greatest Hits Show on Thursday 17th of July. This show will be oepend by the Band Eclipse Sol Air. Tickets are available through the links on the main page of our Website.

It took this festival only a few editions to raise to one of the leading progressive rock festivals in Europe - or probably even the world.

Next to the music and bands that have taken part at the various festival editions, the main reason for the success is simply the location!

The UNESCO world heritage Loreley (GERMANY) is one of the most outstanding Open Air Amphitheaters in Europe. High above the river Rhine,

the visitors are overwhelmed by the beautiful view of the surrounding area.

By this outstanding ambiente we continue to establish the festival as the "Mekka of Progressive Rock".

The highlights of the past 6 years have been for sure the appearances of Dream Theater, Eloy, Fish,

ASIA, Jethro Tull, Roger Hodgson, Steve Hackett, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, Marillion - to name a few.

The tradition to supply a stage for young and emergent bands is one of our major tasks.

To give them the chance to play in front of thousands of people will definitely help to create a career.
